I think you're nice But I've been thinking twice That you're not the one for me I think you're swell But baby, can't you tell That we're not meant to be I noticed you across the room Staring at me An upturned grin; I want to let you in, But it's not happening It's over before it begins 'Cause I want someone who knows me better Someone who'll finish my sentence But I, but I don't think that's you 'Cause I want someone who knows me better Someone who'll write me love letters But I, but I, but I don't think that's you It's sad but true It's always been that I'm the one to jump right in To give it all I've got But not this time, there needs to be a reason or rhyme It can't be all for naught "There's a guy who'll treat you right" My friend says to me But what's it worth if my heart's not beating irregularly? 'Cause I want someone who knows me better Someone who'll finish my sentence But I, but I don't think that's you 'Cause I want someone who knows me better Someone who'll write me love letters But I, but I, but I don't think that's you It's sad but true I no longer want I no longer want I no longer want you

I'm starting to feel something I think you are too Don't you worry, I'm not falling In love with you It's so unusual What we've been through I'm starting to feel something I'm feeling so close to you Yeah, won't you stay the night Every time Whoa, won't you lose your mind It's alright Just give it to me one more time (guitar solo) Oh, won't you stay the night Every time Whoa, won't you lose your mind It's alright Just give it to me one more time I'm starting to feel something I think you are too Don't you worry, I'm not falling In love too soon It's so unusual What we've been through I'm starting to feel something I'm feeling so close to you Yeah, won't you stay the night Every time Whoa, won't you lose your mind It's alright Just give it to me one more time

One Arm Hug 03:21
We wake up early 'Cause you gotta go to work I have to ride the subway home Clothed in yesterday's dirt I feel self-conscious on the subway ride back, As though all eyes are on me and my kiss-stained neck Did I stay true to myself? Did I demand respect? Did I expect a kiss goodbye? Well yes, I guess I did Instead I got a one-arm hug and a "goodbye, see you later kid" At this point in my life I don't quite know what's wrong from right At this point in my life How can I be sure to preserve my pride? My pride I wake up early Don't gotta go to work I lie in bed awhile Wondering what it's all worth Do you know me, Do I even know myself? Will I get up and get out, Do I have the will To do whatever I want With dignity and respect? Will I accept a missed reply, Well no, don't think I will "We accept the love we think we deserve," And I deserve more At this point in my life I don't quite know what's wrong from right At this point in my life How can I be sure to preserve my pride? My pride Did I expect a kiss goodbye? Well yes, I guess I did Instead I got a one-arm hug, Instead I got a one-arm hug, Instead I got a one-arm hug, And a "goodbye, see you later kid"
